
Bruins Rally Past Blazers

Evan Pighin's early third-period goal broke a 1-1 tie and rallied the Bruins to a 3-1 win over the Blazers on Friday night in Chilliwack.
After a scoreless first period, Jordan Rowley opened the scoring with a powerplay goal less than five minutes into the second...only to have Mark Santorelli tie the game with a powerplay goal of his own about 10 minutes later.
Pighin broke the tie early in the third with Cody Smuk adding an empty netter. Final shots were 34-18 Bruins with Mark Friesen getting the win while Justin Leclerc took the loss.
The Blazers were 1-for-5 on the PP while the Bruins were 1-for-4.
