Cranbrook, BC - The Kootenay ICE handed out their tenth annual team awards prior to the start of the game against the Calgary Hitmen tonight. Nine different players were recognized for their achievements. The individual winners are listed below:
Rod Hunter Ltd. Players Award - Dustin Sylvester
Apollo Ristorante Most Valuable Player - Steve DaSilva
Ron Collision / Dixon Service Centre Top Defenseman - John Negrin
Alpine Toyota Rookie of the Year - Brayden McNabb
Skyway Distributors Most Improved Player - Michael Stickland
BDO Dunwoody Most Underrated Player - Arnaud Jacquemet
East Kootenay Community Credit Union Community Relations Award - Steve DaSilva
Al Flick Scholastic Player of the Year - Steele Boomer
Jewels on Ninth Player of the Month - Kris Lazaruk
East Kootenay Community Credit Union Community Player of the Month - Paul Kurceba
Fan's Choice Player of the Year - Dustin Sylvester
The Domino's Pizza Top Play-off Performer will be announced at the conclusion of the 2007-2008 WHL Playoffs.
