
Bruins fall to Worcester

The Providence Bruins and Worcester IceCats played the fourth game of their 10-game season series on Sunday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, with the IceCats taking a 2-1 decision. The Bruins are in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with their 20-14-2-6 record.
Bruin center Patrice Bergeron notched his 13th goal of the season, with assists from Keith Aucoin and Andy Hilbert. Hilbert is now tied with former Bruin Andre Savage for second place in franchise career scoring history. The 23-year-old native of Howell, Michigan has 83-92-175 totals in 197 career games as a Bruin. Sergei Zholtok is the all-time leader with 186 points.
Providence goaltender Hannu Toivonen made 15 saves, and is 17-12-3 on the season.
The Bruins host the Portland Pirates on Friday, January 21 at 7:05 p.m. and on Sunday, January 23 at 4:05 p.m.
The Providence Bruins and 92 PRO-FM will conduct a blood drive on Monday, January 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Warwick. All donors will receive a free pair of Providence Bruins game tickets, and will be eligible to enter a raffle for an autographed Bruins stick. Bruin forwards Colton Orr and Pat Leahy will be on hand for autographs and pictures from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
