Road Runners recall St. Pierre from Greenville

The Edmonton Road Runners have recalled forward Martin St. Pierre from the ECHL's Greenville Grrrowl.

St. Pierre, a 5'9", 185-pound native of Embrun, Ontario, has played 33 games with the Grrrowl this season, collecting 38 points (10-28-38) and 45 penalty minutes. In his first professional season, St. Pierre is currently fourth in league scoring and was recently selected to play in the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game.

The 21-year-old former Ontario Hockey League standout recorded 320 points (108-212-320) in 257 career games with the Guelph Storm. Last season, St. Pierre led the Storm to their second Memorial Cup berth in three years, won the Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy as the OHL's Overage Player-of-the-Year and was named to the OHL's Western Conference All-Star Team.
