
Bruce Watson to miss Jan. 3 and Jan. 4 games

FAYETTEVILLE, NC--- The Cape Fear FireAntz of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League (ACHL) have been informed by league office that Bruce Watson has been suspended for two games.
Watson received two 10-minute misconduct penalties in the FireAntz game versus the Jacksonville Barracudas on Jan. 1 (ACHL Game #87). According to ACHL rules, two 10-minute misconduct penalties in the same game equals a game misconduct.
This is his fourth game misconduct of the year for the winger creating an automatic two game suspension. The Pembroke, Ontario will miss Friday night's game (Jan. 3) against the Knoxville Ice Bears at the Crown Coliseum. Watson will also sit out of Saturday night's (Jan.4 ) road game versus the Jacksonville Barracudas at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Since joining the FireAntz the 6-2, 230 pound Watson has collected 19 points (9G, 10A) and accumulated 128 penalty minutes in 9 games.
