
Broncos Honour the Past and Show Promising Future

December 30th 1986, Trent Kresse, Scott Kruger, Brent Ruff and Chris Mantyka became forever 20, 19,16 and 19 respectively.
The Saskatoon Blades hounoured the Broncos past with a moment of silence pre-game.
With the past on their mind, the future took over.
It was a night of firsts:
Defenseman Kade Jensen had his first mutliple goal game. He scored twice.
Gustav Olhaver recorded his first point as a Bronco
Lane Pederson recorded his first point and later on his first goal as a Bronco
Colby Sissons scored his first WHL goal...the eventual game winner.
All those players are 18 years of age and under.
The Broncos won 6-4. Scott Feser and Tyler Steenbergen also had Bronco goals. With the win the Broncos have now won two in a row.
Glenn Gawdin had two assists and left the game in the 2nd with an apparent lower body injury.
The Broncos outshot Saskatoon 32-28. Saskatoon scored the game's first two goals under 10 minutes in. Landon Bow got the win in goal.
Scott Feser, Tyler Steenbergen and Lane Pederson had 2 point nights. Max Lajoie and Jon Martin were Plus 3 on the night. The Bronco power play was 0/3 while the PK was 3/5.
The Broncos travel to Regina Friday night. Their next home game is Sunday at 4pm vs Kootenay.
