
Broncos Call up Child, Gonek and Odgers

Swift Current, SK - Swift Current Broncos General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, has announced that the club has called up forward Dakota Odgers, goaltender Travis Child and defenceman Zack Gonek following the conclusion of their hockey seasons.
Dakota Odgers, the 5'11", 187-pound product of Spy Hill, SK played 38 regular season games with the Yorkton Harvest of the SMAAAHL this season where he sat second on the team in scoring recording 47 points (12G,35A) and 47 penalty minutes. He also recorded one goal and two assists in five playoff games with the Harvest. Odgers was selected by the Broncos in the 2nd round, 24th overall, of the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.
Zack Gonek, the 6'1", 193-pound product of St.Albert, AB played with the St. Albert Raiders of the AMHL this season. Gonek was selected by the Broncos in the 1st round, 13th overall, of the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.
Travis Child, the 6'1", 173-pound native of Killam, AB recorded 1,119 minutes with the Camrose Vikings of the AMMHL this season where he posted a 0.900 save percentage, a 3.54 GAA and a 5-4-10 record. In playoffs, he posted 112 minutes, a 0.893 save percentage and a 4.82 GAA with the Vikings. Child was selected by the Broncos in the 2nd round, 29th overall, of the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.
