Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Wednesday assigned right wing David Brisson (brih-SAHN) to the Muskegon Fury of the United Hockey League.
Brisson, a 26-year-old rookie from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, has tallied four points (3-1-4), two penalty minutes and a minus-three rating in 33 games with the Griffins this season. In four games over three previous stints with Muskegon, he contributed three assists with a minus-one rating.
Brisson is expected to be in the Fury's lineup tonight when they visit the Flint Generals at 7. Concurrently, the Griffins will entertain the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks at Van Andel Arena.
