Miami FC News Release
In an endeavor to foster positive change and promote community well-being, the Brighter Days Foundation International (BDFI) has embarked on a promising collaboration with Miami FC. Brighter Days Foundation Int. is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides mental health services to youth groups and young adults who need mental health services but have no access to health insurance.
This partnership aims to leverage the power of sports and philanthropy to uplift our local community and inspire the next generation of leaders. By combining respective resources and passions, BDFI and Miami FC are set to create lasting impacts.
Sports, particularly soccer, have always possessed the ability to bring people together and ignite a sense of belonging. BDFI recognizes the incredible potential of this universal language and its ability to transcend social and cultural barriers. By joining hands with Miami FC, BDFI aims to harness the sport's ability to empower individuals, create opportunities, and foster social cohesion within the community. Miami FC will be hosting BDFI for Pride Night on July 8th against Phoenix Rising FC, and again on September 16th for Heritage Night against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
One of the central pillars of this partnership revolves around youth development and education. BDFI and Miami FC will collaborate on various initiatives designed to promote academic achievement, enhance life skills, and cultivate leadership qualities among young individuals. By leveraging the influence of professional athletes as role models, the partnership seeks to inspire and motivate the next generation to dream big and pursue their goals with determination.
The collaboration will include mentorship programs and soccer clinics led by Miami FC players and staff to inspire the youth to achieve their dreams. Through these initiatives, BDFI and Miami FC aim to equip young people with the tools they need to succeed both on and off the soccer field, emphasizing the importance of education, teamwork, and perseverance.
