Phoenix Rising FC Hosts Memphis 901 on Military Appreciation Night Tomorrow at 8 PM

PHOENIX, Arizona - Phoenix Rising FC will kick off the Fourth of July weekend with its Military Appreciation Night match against Memphis 901 FC at 38th St/Washington, tomorrow at 8 p.m.

Rising Head Coach Juan Guerra spoke with media on Wednesday to discuss the matchup against one of the league's hottest teams. Memphis is 8-0-3 in its last 11 games and has not lost a match on the road this season.

"Memphis has a clear identity," said Guerra. "They have a lot of players that've been together for almost two years. That makes the team very strong and very dangerous. They're also in good form. It's gonna be a good game. We see it for us as a highly motivational game. It's motivating to play versus teams that are doing a good job. You want to measure yourself versus those teams. We're in a good run of form right now too. We're headed in the right direction. It is going to be an important game in front of our people, so let's see how it goes."
