
Bridgeport Takes Down Lancaster

(Bridgeport, CT - The Bridgeport Bluefish defeated the Lancaster Barnstormers 6-2 in Friday night's game at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.
The 'Fish gave themselves an early 2-0 lead when Prentice Redman hit a two-run double down the left field line in the bottom of the first. From there they never looked back after a strong performance on the mound from Mike Parisi (5-14). The veteran right-hander went seven innings, scattering only six hits, two runs while striking out three batters and walking three.
Bridgeport attacked Lancaster's starting pitcher Rich Rundles (3-3) for nine hits in six innings, with Redman and Daniel Mayora each picking up two hits on the night. Redman also finished the night with three RBIs.
Bridgeport will be back in action tomorrow evening as they look to take two game from the three-game series against the Lancaster Barnstormers.
