Lancaster Stormers News Release
The Lancaster Barnstormers today announced the wedding ceremony of season ticket holders Nancy Seybert and Gurn Emenheiser, which will take place on-field Sunday, June 7, at 5:30 p.m. before the scheduled 6 p.m. game against the Camden Riversharks.
"Brides & Bases," sponsored by the Lancaster County Convention Center & Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, will be the Barnstormers first-ever wedding theme night, and will feature wedding vendors on the concourse, bridal games and some great prizes for the soon-to-be-betrothed, including $1,000 towards a wedding gown, courtesy of Fancy Shmancy Bridal Boutique.
And single ladies needn't worry about being left out. The winner of a post-game bouquet toss will receive a complimentary overnight stay and breakfast at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, and an ugly bridesmaid dress contest will net one lucky (or unlucky...depending on the dress) lady a night in the Barnstormers luxurious Hamilton Suite.
Barnstormers manager Von Hayes will give the bride away, zany on-field host I.M. Fun will lead a congratulatory toast and Cylo and Barnstormers front office staff will be dressed to the nines to celebrate the marriage of Seybert and Emenheiser, who were engaged June 30, 2008, in front of a crowd of more than 3,000 fans at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
Single-game tickets for the Barnstormers "Brides & Bases" game or any other remaining game in the 2009 regular season are still available and can be purchased in person at the Clipper Magazine Stadium box office, over the phone at (717) 509-HITS or online at www.LancasterBarnstormers.com.
