Bradenton Defeats Mets 8-1

Bradenton earned a series victory over the Mets as they pulled away with a four-run eighth for an 8-1 win on Sunday.
The Mets(24-17) were limited to five hits after scoring 10 runs and registering 16 hits in the middle game of the series on Saturday.
Hansel Robles allowed four runs and four hits while walking three and striking out six in just four innings.
Robles walked two batters in the second and allowed a two-out, two run double to Alen Hanson.
Jose Osuna hit a solo home run to left off of Robles in the third inning.
The Mets trailed 4-0 in the sixth, before recording three consecutive hits. T.J. Rivera and Matt Reynolds had back-to-back singles and Dustin Lawley ripped a double to left to score Rivera. Nick Kingham struck out Aderlin Rodriguez and Rylan Sandoval with runners at second and third to end the threat.
Reynolds finished 2-for-3 with a double and walk while Lawley drove in his 35th run of the season.
Carlos Vazquez pitched three scoreless innings in relief. Elias Diaz hit a grand slam off of Mets reliever Wanel Mesa with two outs in the eighth. Hamilton Bennett recorded the final out of the innning.
The Mets will visit the Dunedin Blue Jays in the opener of a four-game series on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Matt Bowman will make the start for the Mets. Josh Johnson will start for the Blue Jays on a major league rehab assignment.
