
Bourassa earns weekly honor

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder defenseman Jarad Bourassa has been name the Lone Star Restaurant "Player of the Week" for his performance in the team's four games last week, it was announced Monday.
Bourassa has scored a goal in the last three PrairieThunder games to push his total to a career-high 17 for the season. Bourassa has scored a goal six of the last seven games to help push the PrairieThunder record to 24-42-4.
He scored the first goal in Sunday's 5-4 victory over league-leading Muskegon as the PrairieThunder snapped a four-game losing streak.
The PrairieThunder returns to action Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Chicago at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates.
