Kevin Barker's two-run single with one out in the last of the 9th dropped the Cats record to 7-11. Thunder Bay had taken a 6-5 lead in the top of the 9th on a solo home run by Jacob Rogers (Eastern New Mexico University), his first of the season. Jason Vosler (Northeastern University) also hit his first home run, a two-run shot in the 8th inning. Tyler Duplantis (Nicholls State University) led the Cats at the plate going 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
