Traverse City, MI - In a night that turned into a pitching duel, Green Bay fell short of a comeback and lost the road opener 2-1 to Traverse City.

Although Nick Riggle got the loss, his performance in innings 2-5 show how impactful he can be for Green Bay this season. Riggle retired 10 consectutive batters from the final out of inning one to the third out in inning four. In that span, he fanned three batters, two of which were looking.

From the bullpen, Bobby Dorta and Tanner Lane supplied three shutout innings for Green Bay, and Lane struck out two of the three batters he faced.

At the dish, Justin Greene led the way with two singles. Blaise Maris reached base twice and Jacob Buchberger supplied the only run for the Booyah on the evening with a sac fly in the fourth.

Green Bay looks to rebound tomorrow as they face Traverse City at 11 a.m. ET.
