AVON, OHIO - The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, were rained out for a second consecutive day as the opener of a six-game roadtrip with the Lake Erie Crushers will have to wait due to heavy rain and thunderstorms in northeast Ohio.
The two teams will play a Wednesday doubleheader with both games seven innings in length. The first game will be played at 2:05 p.m. with the second contest set for 6:35 p.m. The Boomers were rained out on Monday as well, that game will be made up on June 18 at 6:30 p.m.
