
Bombers Game Canceled Tonight; Will Play Doubleheader Tomorrow

BATTLE CREEK, MI- Due to the heavy amounts of rain, the opening game of the Battle Creek Bombers and Eau Claire Express series has been postponed and the two teams will play a double header Saturday beginning at 5:05 PM, with gates opening at 4 PM.
The St. Farm Fireworks show has been moved to tomorrow night's game, as well as St. Farm Customer Appreciation Night. All St. Farm tickets will be accepted for tomorrow nights game.
As a result of the doubleheader, the Bombers are running a 2 for 1 special on Fan Deck Tickets. Anyone who purchases a Fan Deck ticket for the first game will have access to the Fan Deck for the second game as well. The All-you-can-eat and drink will run until the 5th inning of the second game.
The regularly scheduled promotions for Saturday will run as scheduled. The Bombers will be giving away the Super Dave Sappelt Bobblehead to the first 500 fans courtesy of Myers Chiropractic. In addition, it will be Community Safety Crime Prevention Night presented by Neighborhood Crime Watch. The Police, Fire and other local safety departments will have displays set-up throughout the stadium including the Bomb Squad.
Tomorrow night's games will also determine the winner of the "Clash of the Ex-Titans" wager between Bombers GM Brian Colopy and Eau Claire Express GM Andy Neborak. The team's GM that owns the worst record heading into the final game of the season on August 12th at C.O. Brown Stadium will have to wear the other teams Jersey, Hat, and will be the opposing team's batboy for the game.ÃÂ Currently, the Bombers trail the Express by a half game and will need to win both games of the doubleheader in order to win the "Clash of the Ex-Titans".
