(Duluth, MN) - Last night in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada the Duluth Huskies defeated the Thunder Bay Border Cats by the score of 11-4 clinching their second straight Lake Superior Cup Championship.
The Lake Superior Cup is a traveling trophy that goes to the winner of the season series between the Duluth Huskies and the rival Thunder Bay Border Cats. The two teams play each other 10 times in 2012 and the Huskies currently hold a 6-3 advantage entering tonight's game in Thunder Bay at 6:05 PM Central.
The Huskies will return to Wade Stadium for the final two regular season games this Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th. Saturday is the Huskies Fan Appreciation Night featuring 9 Innings of Winning and Fireworks following the game! Gates open on Saturday at 6:05 PM.
Sunday, August 12th is the final Cub Foods Family Fun Day when fans can receive four General Admission tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for only $30. Gates open on Sunday at 4:05 PM.
