
Bombers & BCCF to Host Moe Skeeter's Birthday Party

Battle Creek, MI - The Battle Creek Bombers are teaming up with the Battle Creek Community Foundation to celebrate mascot Moe Skeeter's birthday on Saturday July 19th. The event will be held in the parking lot of the Burnham Brook Community Center from noon to 3:00 pm and will be the ending point for the "Battle Through the Creek", an Amazing Race style challenge. Moe Skeeter, the Bombers mascot since the 2007 season, will be celebrating his birthday in style with appearances from Bombers' players, carnival games, a bounce house, food, prizes, and of course Moe himself! This event is free to attend and open to the public.
Want to catch a Bombers Game before Moe's Birthday Party? The Bombers return home from an eight game road trip on Saturday, July 12th to take on the Wisconsin Woodchucks for Star Wars Night. Gates open at 6:05 for a Drew Smyly Bobblehead Giveaway courtesy of Brad Gray's Auto Body. There will also be a post-game fireworks display presented by State Farm Agent Ernie Lahusky and the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
Sunday is Meijer Family Fun Day and Carnival Night presented by Grand Rental, which will feature bounce houses, obstacle courses, carnival games, and pony rides presented by Saddle Up, Buckaroos. Gates open at 4:05 and first pitch is at 5:05 for the final game of the weekend series against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
The Bombers are back at it on Tuesday at 7:05 against the Kenosha Kingfish. Every Tuesday home game means one thing - a TV Giveaway presented by Aaron's. It will also be 4H Night, so be sure to stop by and take a look at all the local 4H member's displays. To top off the night, the Bombers will be hosting a food drive to benefit the Food Bank presented by Downtown Battle Creek.
The home stand will finish up with Diamond Dog Wednesday presented by King Jewelers as the Bombers once again take on the Kenosha Kingfish at 7:05. There will be a pregame mixer beginning at 4:00 for members of the Battle Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Marshall Chamber of Commerce. Be sure to get to C.O. Brown Stadium when gates open at 6:05 to receive an official Bombers Team Photo and hang around after the game for post-game autographs.
