The Boise Hawks (Short Season A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies) tied the most runs on the season against an opponent with an 11-5 win Wednesday night over the Eugene Emeralds (Short Season A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.)

Scoring was immediate from the Hawks. In the bottom of the first, Isaac Collins lead off with a walk and Ezequiel Tovar ripped an opposite-field hit to right for an RBI-triple, making it 1-1 Boise. This was the first triple for Tovar this year. First baseman Michael Toglia followed up with an RBI-single, scoring Tovar, giving the Hawks the lead at 2-1.

The bottom of the third had four runs come across for the Hawks. Toglia started the rally with a one-out double, then Aaron Schunk singled to right that scored Toglia. Joe Aeilts then launched his first professional home run over the right-center field fence to make it 5-2 Hawks. Bladimir Restituyo would double in the next at-bat then steal third and come across to score the sixth run off a throwing error.

In the bottom of the sixth, with runners at second and third, Schunk hit a sacrifice fly to score Tovar and make it 7-3 Hawks. Aeilts would then knock in Schunk off an RBI-double and give the Hawks an 8-3 lead.

The Hawks plated three runs bottom of the eighth inning, highlighted by an RBI-triple from Schunk. The Georgia native went 2 for 4 on the day with two runs and three RBIs.
