
Boise Hawks Host "Pink in the Park" Monday August 15

BOISE, ID- Join the Boise Hawks and local Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants on Monday, August 15 at 7:15p for "Pink In The Park," a special fundraising opportunity to benefit the Mary Kay Foundation and HawksNation Charity. Tickets cost $8.00 per seat with part of the proceeds benefiting the Mary Kay Foundation and Hawks Nation Charity, which supports local youth sports. In addition, on Monday nights kids 12 and under will receive a free hot dog and juice just for showing up to the ballpark!

Monday, August 15th Mayor David Bieter plans to declare "Chicago Cubs Day" in Boise. The Boise Hawks would like to encourage all fans coming to the game that night to either wear Cubs gear or pink to the ballpark!

The Hawks began Northwest League play as an independent club from 1987-89. The team was affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 1990-2000 and have been with the Chicago Cubs since 2001. The club has won 6 NWL Championships, the most recent banner coming in 2004.
