Bismarck Bobcats News Release

The Bismarck Bobcats (31-13-1, 63 points) beat the Alexandria Blizzard (22-19-4, 48 points) Saturday night 6-2. The Bobcats are now 9-2 this season against the Blizzard and are still two points ahead of North Iowa (who won 7-1 over Albert Lea) for the Central Division's top spot.

Bobcats' Jordan Singer scored two goals in the game and Cody Keefer had the game-winning goal to go with one assist on the night. Bismarck's David Bosner picked up his 18th win of the season for the Bobcats.

With the win, the Bobcats tie a franchise-high in wins in their North American Hockey League (31) history. Bismarck's franchise-high in wins is 37 set in the 2002-2003 season when they played in the America West Hockey League, which was the same year they won the league championship (Bourne Cup).

The Bobcats will play again against the Blizzard on Sunday (5:00pm) night in Alexandria. You can listen to the game on Super Talk 1270 AM with the "Voice of the Bobcats," Skip Berry beginning 30 minutes before the puck drops for "The Dvorak Motors Pre-Game Show." Also, watch every game online through the B2 Networks.
