Wyandotte, MI - The Motorcity Machine finished the weekend winning 2 of 3 with the defeat of the Alpena Icediggers on Sunday evening, 5-4
Ryan Misiak opened the scoring for the Machine with a powerplay rebound on a shot from Nate Taurence. Jared Williams, Ali Dakroub, Billy Ballent and Jon Bobb each scored even strength for the Machine.
Joe Moore earned his second star of the game this weekend turning aside 44 or 48 shots.
Erik Peterson, Ryan Timar, JC Gulch and Jim McKusker scored for Alpena.
Motorcity was 1 for 4 on the powerplay and Alpena was 0 for 6.
The Machine who defeated the Mahoning Valley Phantoms in a shootout on Friday, play host to the Phantoms for their last meeting of the season on Friday, February 27 and Saturday February 28 at home in Wyandotte.
