The Metal Jackets came out in the first with two goals one by Balent and another by Wydo and that was all in the 1 and 2nd period. The third period was not favorable for the Metal Jackets where the Jets poured it on with 3 goals in the first 13 minutes of the period and the Metal Jackets kept hope alive with a goal from Smith with 4:30 left in the 3rd but that is all the fire they had.
On Saturday night it seemed that the game would go the same way as Motor City scored first then Janesville countering with another just 4 minutes apart. In the second period Klieman netted his second of the game to take a 2-1 lead going into the third. Half way through the 3rd Brancheau scored to make it 3-1. Head Coach/General Manager - David Cole "Playing a team 5 straight games in tough but we need to focus on one game at a time. I believe our team played well for most of the game and we are going to take this as a learning lesson. You take time off the other team will make you pay. I do have to give it up to the boys for never giving up and our leaders shined in the OT Win."
