Bobblehead and Back-To-Back Fireworks Highlight Homestand

Beloit, WI - After an off day, the Snappers will begin a seven-game homestand against the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers from August 8th-14th. Back-to-back Firework shows, and a Cam Roegner bobblehead giveaway highlight the homestand!

The beginning of the homestand will be on August 8th and will begin with the resumption of the game from July 3rd between the two teams that was suspended for lighting issues. The game was suspended going into the top of the sixth inning with both teams tied at 1-1. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 p.m. for the first game.

Game 1 of the scheduled series will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game. Wednesday is a Kids Eat Free and Craft Beer Wednesday special. Kids 12 and under will receive a hot dog and soda voucher to be redeemed at the main concession stand. All 12-oz. craft beer drafts are just $2.

The second game of the series on August 9 will start at 7:00 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. It's a Two dollar Thursday special, where hot dogs, brats, pizza, 12 oz. domestic draft beer and fountain soft drinks can be purchased for just $2. The weekend games, the 10th-12th, are Educational Weekend-Back To School special at Pohlman Field, presented by Educators Credit Union. All teachers, with the presentation of their school I.D., get into each of the three games for free!

Friday's game on the 10th begins at 7:00 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Postgame fireworks will light up the sky, presented by KANDU and Best Events. The fireworks show was originally scheduled on July 20th. It's also a More For Your Money Friday! Four General Admission tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 fountain soft drinks, a cotton candy, and a box of popcorn can be yours for just $40! Saturday the 11th begins a four-game series with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, game one starting at 7:00 p.m with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. It's another fireworks show after the ballgame, presented by Kerry!

Sunday's game against the T-Rats is an afternoon first pitch at 2:00 p.m. as gates will open at 1:00 p.m. It's the final bobblehead giveaway of the season, a Cam Roegner Bobblehead, presented by Educators Credit Union! Fans will receive wrist bands at the gate, and will be able to claim their bobblehead at the conclusion of the 5th inning.

Sunday is also a 2-For-1 BOGO & Mercy Health System's Day.
