WILMINGTON, DE - Behind a monster game from Cody Bohanek and great pitching from start to finish, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the High-A affiliate of the New York Mets, topped the Wilmington Blue Rocks 3-1 Tuesday night at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium.

BIG MOMENTS
Cody Bohanek went 3-3 with two doubles, a triple, a walk, and a stolen base, working as the catalyst for the offense all night. With the game tied 1-1 in the top of the eighth, Bohanek's RBI triple scored Antoine Duplantis from first base to give Brooklyn the lead. Bohanek also scored from third base on Ronny Mauricio's run-scoring fielder's choice to extend the lead to 3-1. He doubled and scored the Cyclones' first run in the fourth inning.
Justin Lasko turned in a quality start, striking out four over six innings of one-run ball. Brian Metoyer earned the victory with two scoreless innings, facing the minimum across the seventh and eighth innings, and Andrew Edwards struck out a pair to earn the save in the ninth.
Cyclones catcher Francisco Alvarez ripped the first pitch he saw in the fourth, plating Bohanek to tie the game 1-1 against Wilmington starter Alfonso Hernandez.

The Cyclones snapped a four-game losing streak, beating Wilmington in the first head-to-head meeting in franchise history.
