Bristol Blues News Release

In Tonight's premier FCBL match up, the two division leaders of the league faced off in a battle of the powerhouses. The Bristol Blues traveled to Fraser Field to take on the North Shore Navigators at 7pm.

The Blues win was in large part because of the performance of Blues starting pitcher Troy Terzi (Post University). Terzi was able to go nine innings without allowing a run and only two hits for one of the best performances out of a starting pitcher in Bristol Blues history. Terzi's performance brings his season ERA down to a minuscule 1.59.

The Blues were led offensively by RBI's from Tyler Packanik (Marietta), Christian Budzik (Eastern Connecticut State University), and Robert Schryver (Franklin Pierce). Losing pitcher for the Navigators was Cole OConnor.

The Blues are back in action at Muzzy Field tomorrow night when the Brockton Rox come into town to try and break the Blues six game winning streak. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
