Blues Announce Exhibition Schedule

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that the Blues will hold an American Hockey League (AHL) exhibition game at Scottrade Center on Tuesday, September 23 at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Blues vs. Dallas Stars at 7:30 p.m. Any fan who purchases a ticket for the September 23rd game (Blues vs. Stars) will be allowed to watch the AHL game for free. Scottrade Center's doors will open at 3 p.m.

The 2008 exhibition schedule will begin in Kansas City against the Los Angeles Kings on Monday, September 22nd. The Blues will play seven exhibition games, three of which will be at Scottrade Center. St. Louis' exhibition opponents include the Los Angles Kings, Stars, Atlanta Thrashers and Toronto Maple Leafs.

This will mark the third time in six years St. Louis will play an exhibition game in Kansas City. The last time was in 2005 vs. the Nashville Predators.

The Blues will hold an extended training camp in Peoria from Oct. 2nd-3rd with a skills competition with the Rivermen and a Blue/White scrimmage.

The team will hold an open practice on Oct. 2nd and 3rd with a Blue/White scrimmage game on Friday night at the Peoria Civic Center-Carver Arena.
