
Bluefish and Patriots Game Postponed Due to Rain

Bridgeport, CT - Friday night's contest between the Somerset Patriots (26-27) and the Bridgeport Bluefish (22-31) at Harbor Yard has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow. The squads will play two games tomorrow as each contest will be seven innings. Game one will begin at 6:05 p.m. while the second game will start 30 minutes after the first one concludes.
In game one Roy Merritt (4-1, 3.49 ERA) will be on the mound for the Patriots while Dan Serafini (1-0, 1.29 ERA) will pitch for the Bluefish. In game two Justin Cassel (1-5, 3.59 ERA) will toe the rubber for the Patriots while Paul Oseguera (4-2, 3.11 ERA) will be the hurler for the Bluefish.
The 2012 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue on the road until Monday, June 25th when the Patriots return home to take on the Long Island Ducks at TD Bank Ballpark at 7:05 pm.
