Lancaster's Fehlandt Lentini drove in the game's first run on a fielder's choice in the first inning, while an error allowed Emerson Frostad, who had previously doubled, to score in the second making it 2-0. Blake Gailen ripped an RBI single to right and Lentini legged out an infield hit plating one more in the fourth as the lead grew to 4-0. Frostad led off the eighth with a walk, took third on a single by Francisco Hernandez, and scored on a double play to provide the final margin.

Lancaster used a 13-hit attack, 11 of which were singles, and 10 of which came in the first four innings when the Barnstormers scored four of their five runs. The Barnstormers did strand seven runners in the first four innings, but managed to build its lead while Mark Brackman (3-3) worked his magic on the other side, tossing seven scoreless innings and striking out eight in combining on the shutout.

York loaded the bases with no outs in the third against Brackman, and again with one out in the eighth against Lancaster's bullpen, but failed to score. Both teams stranded a total of nine runners.

York's Chris Cody (4-6) suffered the loss, charged with four runs in 5.1 innings. It was his first career loss to the Barnstormers, falling to 4-1 lifetime in head-to-head matchups, and it snapped his personal three-game winning streak.

The loss snaps York's three-game winning streak as a team, as the Revs (27-27) fall back to the .500 mark, and a season-high seven games behind Lancaster for first place in the Freedom Division. Lancaster (34-20) earned its 19th win in its last 24 games.

The Revs were shut out for just the third time all season and first since May 1. It was Lancaster's fourth shutout as a pitching staff and first since Brackman completed a whitewash at Somerset on June 6.

York was held to six hits, with Brandon Haveman (2-for-4) and Danny Gonzalez (2-for-4) posting multi-hit games.

The two teams have now split four meetings this season, while York falls to 51-49 all-time in regular season play against Lancaster.

York's Matt Chico (0-1, 11.25) will make his second start for the Revs on Saturday against Lancaster's John Halama (5-3, 2.49). It is Ag & Farm Night presented by GVM Inc. at Sovereign Bank Stadium, and the night will conclude with Postgame Fireworks (inside the park) presented by the York County Agricultural Business Council. Tickets are available at YorkRevolution.com, (717) 801-HITS and in-person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office.
