
Blue Jays Recall Thole from Bisons, Jimenez Rejoins Herd

The Toronto Blue Jays today announced that they have recalled C JOSH THOLE from the Buffalo Bisons. With the roster room, C A.J. JIMENEZ has been promoted to the Bisons from Double-A New Hampshire.
Also, the Blue Jays announced that OF ANDY DIRKS has been activated off the Buffalo Bisons disabled list and granted his release.
Jimenez, 24, began the season on Buffalo's disabled list but was transferred to New Hampshire on last Thursday and has played five games with the Fisher Cats (2-21, .095). In 58 games with the Bisons last season, the backstop hit .260 with 13 doubles, a triple, two home runs and 24 RBI. Jimenez also played for the World Team at the 2014 MLB Future's Game.
Thole hit .269 (7-26) with three RBI in eight games for the Bisons this season.
