Blue Bombers Team Up With Safeway For Blue And Gold Voucher Program

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are proud to announce a new partnership with Safeway that will give fans another way to purchase tickets to home games this season.

Beginning today, fans can visit any Safeway location to purchase either a Blue or Gold voucher which will allow them to save 25% off the walk-up price of a ticket and attend a Blue Bomber home game. Once purchased, fans can redeem their voucher at the Ticketmaster box office located at the stadium at no charge or at any other Ticketmaster location where an agency fee will apply. They can then choose the game they would like to attend however, the offer does not apply for the Banjo Bowl.

"Safeway customers are Bomber fans as well and we're excited to work together with the football club in order to offer Safeway Blue and Gold Vouchers in our Manitoba stores," says John Graham, Public Affairs Manager of Canada Safeway. "The vouchers provide great savings for all of the action this season and are sure to be in great popularity."

"We're very excited to be teaming up with one of our longtime sponsors and supporters in Safeway for this new initiative," says Blue Bomber President Jim Bell. "We feel the Blue and Gold vouchers will offer our fans an easy way to purchase tickets so that they can help cheer on their favourite team."

Fans can visit the customer service booth at any Safeway to purchase the vouchers and join the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at their next home game.
