Green Bay Blizzard News Release

Blizzard in the Community

This week's Blizzard Watch finds several members of the team out and about in the community.

Offensive Coordinator/Team Development Coordinator Rod Miller, back from a recruiting trip, will be reading stories to kids at "Studio G" inside Geoffrey's Toys ‘R' Us in Green Bay (1640 W. Mason Street) from tomorrow (Thursday, November 11) from 10:30-11:30am. He will be joined by Bruiser, the Coolest Mascot in Arena Football.

Robert Garth may have signed a contract with the AFL's Nashville Kats, but he's still a big part of the community here in Green Bay.

The standout WR/LB will be spending some time at Helen Keller Elementary School (located at 1806 Bond Street in Green Bay) on Monday, November 15 from 9:30-11:30am, reading stories and hanging out with the students.

Joining him will be OL/DL Greg Jones, a two-year Blizzard veteran and big fan favorite. Bruiser will be there too, and they will go from class to class and try to meet as many kids as they can.

Robert, Greg and Bruiser will also be hanging out at "Studio G," but they'll be at the Appleton Geoffrey's Toys ‘R' Us location (4301 W. Wisconsin Avenue, by the Fox River Mall) for Story Time next Thursday, November 18 from 10:30-11:30am. If you're re a member of Bruiser's Kids Club (sponsored by Geoffrey's Toys ‘R' Us), be sure and wear your Kids Club t-shirt so Bruiser and the players can sign it!
