League sets 2005 division alignment

CHICAGO - The af2's 20 teams will play in a two-conference, four-division format for the 2005 season, the league office announced today.
In the American Conference will be the East and South Divisions. The Albany Conquest, Green Bay Blizzard, Louisville Fire, Manchester Wolves and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers will make up the East Division, while the South Division will consist of Arkansas Twisters, Birmingham Steeldogs, Florida Firecats, Macon Knights and South Georgia Wildcats.
The National Conference will feature the Midwest and West Divisions. In the Midwest will be the Amarillo Dusters, Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings, Memphis Xplorers, Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and the Quad City Steamwheelers. The West Division will hold the Bakersfield Blitz, Central Valley Coyotes, Rio Grande Valley Dorados, San Diego Riptide and Tulsa Talons.
