Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have signed 16-year-old forward Erik Miller to a standard WHL contract.

Miller was originally selected by the Blazers in the third round of the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

The 6'0" and 165lb forward played last season with the Sherwood Park Squires in Alberta Minor Midget AAA. In 35 games, he posted 28 goals, 29 assists for 57 points.

"Erik has had a very strong training camp," commented Director of Player Personnel, Matt Recchi. "He is a good skater and has a competitive edge to his game along with an excellent skillset. We look forward to watching his development and pushing for a spot on our roster."
