
Blazers Draw Closer with 3-0 Win

The Kamloops Blazers defeated the Kelowna Rockets on Sunday in Kamloops, climbing to within three points of the Rockets in the Western Hockey League's BC Division.
JC Lipon scored twice in the first period and added his third in the third period to lead the Blazers, who outshot Kelowna 33-25 in the game.
Jordon Cooke suffered the loss in net in what was the first of three games between the two teams with just two more weekends left in the WHL regular season.
The Rockets and Blazers will also play a home and home next weekend, meeting in Kamloops on Friday and in Kelowna on Saturday.
The Rockets return to Prospera Place on Wednesday to host the Victoria Royals.
