
Blazers Acquire Veteran Forward Ashton Ferster

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have acquired 2003-born forward Ashton Ferster from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for an 8th round WHL Prospects Draft pick in 2025.
Ferster is from Shellbrook, SK and was selected by the Tigers in the fourth round of the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft. The 6'4" and 200lb right shot forward had nine goals, 10 assists and 19 points in 66 games last season in Medicine Hat.
Ferster adds depth to the lineup as the Blazers are sending eight roster players to NHL camps this week. With the addition of Ferster, the Blazers now have 10 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders available for the final week of the WHL preseason.
