Joplin Blasters News Release
JOPLIN, MO. - The Joplin Blasters will be offering free tickets to all members of the United States Armed Forces on Sunday, July 5th at Joe Becker Stadium.
Members of the Military are asked to bring in their identification card showing their veteran or active duty status to the Blaster's Box Office and they will be given a free ticket for the July 5th game, based on availability, to watch the Blasters take on the Lincoln Saltdogs.
This promotion is made possible by some generous local businesses, most notably Metro Towing Company and Roper Auto, who picked up the cost of the seats. July 5th also marks Military Appreciation Night Presented by Golden Corral, where the Blasters will be wearing special Military themed uniforms that will be auctioned off after the game with a portion of the proceeds going to Camp Corral.
Friday, July 3rd will be a Souvenir Poster Giveaway presented by the Joplin Globe and Saturday, July 4th will be a Fireworks Extravaganza, Presented by Crossland Construction, that the 4- States Community has never seen before. Tickets are still available to this weekends home games and fans are encouraged to visit www.joplinblasters.com to purchase. They can also call (417) 622-4838 for more information and to buy over the phone. Box-office hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.
