Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE threw 32 shots on net, but could only pot one goal as the Saskatoon Blades snuck out of Cranbrook with a 2-1 victory on Saturday night.

Blades' forward Gary Haden opened the scoring near the mid-way point of the first point, but the ICE would tie it up near the end of the period thanks to a rush by forward Cole Muir. Blades' defenceman Seth Bafaro scored the go-ahead goal early in the second period, which would turn out to be the game-winner.

ICE goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 24-of-26 shots that came his way.
