Tonight... The Blades host the Calgary Hitmen for game 2 of a 4-game season series. Saskatoon is looking to get back into the win column after falling 6-2 to the Prince Albert Raiders at home on Sunday. Calgary is also coming off a loss to the Raiders, 8-4 last night. Tonight is game 3 of a 5-game home stand for the Blades, and stop #2 for the Hitmen on a 4-game trip through the East Division.

The last game... Dawson Davidson and Kristian Roykas-Marthinsen scored for the Blades in a 6-2 loss to PA on Sunday. Both goals came on the power play. Nolan Maier made 25 saves in the loss while Eric Florchuk had a pair of assists. For Calgary, captain Mark Kastelic had 2 points and rookie goalie Jack McNaughton surrendered all 8 goals in an 8-4 loss last night in Prince Albert.

Head to head... Dorrin Luding made 42 saves on October 5th in Calgary as the Blades shutout the Hitmen 3-0. Logan Christensen had 2 points in the win for Saskatoon. Last season the Blades had the edge in the season series going 2-1-1-0.

Who's hot... Dawson Davidson has 12 points in his last 7 games, 15 points in total on the year leading all defensemen in league scoring.
