KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has signed U.S. prospect Ian Ferguson to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
The 16-year-old left defenseman currently plays for the Dallas Stars U-16 team in the Tier 1 Elite league. Ferguson, a 6'0, 170-pound native of Missouri, TX, is a solid two-way defenseman who transitions the puck well and plays a physical game.
