
Blades Open Season with a Bang

Saskatoon Blades News Release
The Saskatoon Blades kick started the 2009-10 season in fine fashion with a 5-1 victory over the Regina Pats on Friday night at Credit Union Centre.
Travis Toomey led the way with two goals, while Walker Wintoneak, Brendon Wall, and Burke Gallimore added singles.
Adam Morrison stopped 17 of 18 shots for the win in goal.
The Blades and Pats renew acquaintances on Wednesday night in Regina. The next home game for the Blades is next Friday, September 25th, as the Edmonton Oil Kings are in town. Game time at Credit Union Centre is 7:05 pm.
