Saskatoon Blades News Release
The Saskatoon Blades (41-13-3-1) have jumped from 9th to 7th in this week's CHL Top 10 rankings.
The Blades have won 14 of their past 16 games and remain 6 points ahead of the hard charging Brandon Wheat Kings (38-15-3-1). This past week the Blades defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 7-1, the Red Deer Rebels 8-1, dropped a 2-1 decision to Swift Current, and beat the Medicine Hat Tigers 3-0 last night.
The Blades continue to hold the WHL's best road record, compiling a 23-3-1 mark away from the Credit Union Centre. This weekend the Blades will try to improve those numbers as they visit the Tigers on Friday and the Broncos on Saturday night. The games can be watched on WHL WebTV or heard on 92.9 The Bull with live play-by-play with Les Lazaruk.
