
Blades Fall to Tigers in Exhibition Battle

The Blades dropped a 4-1 decision at the hands of the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night in Aberdeen.
Curtis Hamilton scored the lone goal for the Blades midway through the second period. For Hamilton, it was his first goal of the exhibition campaign.
Matthew Krahn got the start in goal for the Blades, making 12 saves off of 15 shots in 30 minutes of action. Chris Sharkey made 21 saves off of 22 shots after coming in to replace Krahn in the second period.
The next exhibition action for the Blades is next Friday, September 11th against the Prince Albert Raiders at Credit Union Centre. Game time is 7:05 pm. The Blades close out the exhibition schedule one night later on the road against the Regina Pats.
