Blades Defeat ICE 4-3 in Shootout

Saskatoon, SK - The Kootenay ICE scored two unanswered goals in the third period to push the game to extra time, but fell 4-3 in a shootout to the Saskatoon Blades at SaskTel Centre on Saturday night.
The ICE received goals from Jaeger White, Brad Ginnell and Jakin Smallwood. Ginnell led the way for the ICE with three points (1G, 2A). Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 38-of-41 shots and 2-of-3 in the shootout.
The Blades got goals from Kristian Roykas Marthinsen, Gary Haden and Reece Harsch. Goaltender Dorrin Luding blocked 34-of-37 shots and all three in the shootout.
