
Blades Back To Sixth In CHL Rankings

The Saskatoon Blades are ranked 6th heading into the Christmas Break in the latest edition of the BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings released on Wednesday afternoon.
The Blades played three games over the course of this last week since the previous rankings came out. Last Wednesday on GlobalTV Toque Toss Night, the Blades dumped the Kelowna Rockets by a 4-1 score. On Friday, the team travelled north to Prince Albert and dropped a 4-2 decision to the Raiders. In the rematch on Saturday at Credit Union Centre, the Blades defeated the Raiders 5-2.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts. This is the eleventh time the Blades have made the list.
The Blades are off now until Wednesday, December 30th when they begin a six-game road trip in Kent, Washington against the Seattle Thunderbirds. The Bridge City Bunch is not back at Credit Union Centre until Saturday, January 9th with their first home game of the New Year against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
