
Blades Add Local Flavour in Trade with Hitmen

Saskatoon, Sask. -- The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce the acquisition of 2000 born forward, Zach Huber, from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a 6th round draft pick in 2020.
"Zach adds some depth scoring and some grit to our lineup," said Saskatoon General Manager Colin Priestner. "He's a right handed shot and 18-years-old as well which we feel fits our needs. We're excited to welcome Zach and his family to our organization."
Huber, who stands at 5'11.5" and 192lbs, has appeared in 14 games this season with the Hitmen and has scored 4 goals and an assist. Zach also brings 72 WHL games of experience split over the past three seasons which includes 10 points and 38 penalty minutes. He is originally form Grandora, Saskatchewan, a small community just outside of Saskatoon.
Calgary drafted Huber in the 4th round, 74th overall, in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft. Huber is expected to join the Blades for practice as early as Wednesday, and could make his debut in the lineup on Thursday when the Blades play host to the Kootenay ICE.
