Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades Head Coach/Director of Player Personnel Gerry Fleming announced today that forward John Campbell was reassigned from the Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL) on Wednesday and has traveled with the team to Augusta. The Everblades opening day roster now stands at 20 players.
Campbell is currently in his third professional season and scored 24 goals and 22 assists for 46 points in 66 regular season games with the Boardwalk Bullies ( in the last season. The Westboro, Massachusetts native also played four years of collegiate hockey from 1996-2000 amassing 86 points in 139 games.
The Everblades hit the road to take on the Augusta Lynx on Friday and Saturday at 7:35 PM. Florida then travels to Columbus on Sunday to battle the Cottonmouths at 4:00 PM. All 72 regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and NewsRadio 1660 AM with the "Voice of the Everblades" Mark Miller calling the play by play.
