It went from Bryan Baker to Kirby Snead from there as the lefty earned his fourth save of the season.

Cullen Large led off the fourth with a double, advanced to third on a ground out and scored to take the lead via a wild pitch.

Holding on dearly to a one-run lead, Buffalo got a pair of insurance runs in the sixth via the most reliable bats in their lineup. Buffalo became just the fifth team in Triple-A East to reach the 40-win mark as they continue to keep pace with the Northeast division leading Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, 3.5 games back.

In addition, the Herd continued to dominate the Mets Wednesday leading the season series 10-4 and winning seven of their last eight matchups.

The Bisons will continue their final series from Trenton Thunder Ballpark Thursday where they are 25-13 and 7-1 in the current homestand. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. with lefty Zach Logue expected to take the hill for the Herd.
